The **EduSharing Integration** feature allows for the seamless export of educational exercises to the Edu-Sharing repository at the University of Innsbruck. This integration ensures that exercises are searchable and accessible through the OERHub, which aggregates educational resources from various repositories throughout Austria.

## Purpose

The main purpose of the EduSharing Integration is to enhance the discoverability of educational resources. By exporting exercises to the Edu-Sharing repository, these resources become part of a centralized search platform, OERHub, making it easier for educators and learners to find high-quality open educational resources (OER).

## How It Works

The EduSharing Integration involves several key steps:

1. **Exporting Exercises**: Publishers of educational exercises can find an "Export to UIBK Edu-Sharing" button within the user interface of the sharing platform.
|
|
|
|
2. **Review Process**: Once an exercise is exported, it undergoes a review process to ensure it meets the standards and alignment requirements of Edu-Sharing.
|

|
|
3. **Standards Compliance**: Exercises must be licensed under Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 4.0 or CC0 to be eligible for publication.
|
|
|
|
4. **Publication and Revisions**: Once published, exercises cannot be retracted. Any updates are handled as revisions and listed accordingly.
|

|
|
5. **Synchronization and Discovery**: Upon successful review, the exercises are synchronized with the OERHub, making them searchable and accessible.

## Usage

To export exercises to the Edu-Sharing repository:

1. **Locate the Export Button**: Within the exercise's UI, find the "Upload resource to edu-sharing" button.

2. **Initiate Export**: Click the export button to initiate the export process.

|

3.

4. **Review Process**: The exercise will enter a review process to ensure it meets the required standards and licensing.
|
|
|
|
5. **Publication**: Once approved, the exercise will be published to the Edu-Sharing repository and findable through the OERHub. |
