Automated checks for filehooks project

It would be nice to have checks for the file-hooks project which run automatically to catch some errors and ensure a consistent code style. This would improve readability and catch some types of errors.

Ideally, there would be checks running on the developer machine, to help them find issues early and on the server to prevent adding code with issues to the repository when a developer forgot to run the checks.

The client side (developer machine) part is implemented as a git pre-commit hook in development/sharing/file-hooks!19.
